The trip begins as we paddle across West MacKay Lake to join the Roseway River. From there, we'll follow a series of calm stillwaters connected by small runs. Depending on water levels, there may be times when we'll need to wade canoes through shallow spots, so be prepared to get your feet wet. As we paddle, keep a lookout for wildlife. We often see beavers, turtles, eagles and various other local birds. At the half way spot we will stop for lunch at our wilderness picnic location. Total trip time is approx 4-5 hrs.
